 Chairman's Words

Sound health is a basic human right. Healthy body and mind is the definition of Sound Health. The World Health Organization aims to ensure the good health of people around the world by implementing the slogan Health for All'. In view of such a great initiative, in 2004, a number of voluntary homeopathic doctors, students and social workers who were fond of homeopathy were formed as 'Homeopathic Foundation Bangladesh' the only government approved voluntary homeopathic treatment, education, development, research, promotion and service organization in Bangladesh. Homeopathy is today full of touch of modernity in the path of advancement of medical science after overcoming many obstacles. Degree courses of various heights including BHMS DHMS degree are running at university level in the country and abroad. Discovered in 1790 by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) the past and present of homeopathic treatment in the service of humanity is very bright and respected, despite suffering from neglect to this day.

The role of homeopathic medicine in world health care is immense. Homeopathic treatment system is widely practiced in many developed and developing countries including America, Germany, Japan, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at public and private level. We feel that the main problem behind the non-success of health care programs for all in our country is the lack of integration of conventional allopathic treatment with other accepted methods. Taking into account the socio-economic condition of the people of Bangladesh, to speed up universal health service activities, there is a need for widespread cooperation or participation in safe, natural medical methods and homeopathic treatment recognized by the World Health Organization.

Even if we get the facilities of various NGOs including the government and donor organizations to provide health care, we believe that in a populous country like Bangladesh, homeopathy can ensure a large part of the health care of the people in its own way. Therefore, Homeopathic Foundation Bangladesh believes that the government's good will, proper planning and all-out encouragement at the private level and the cooperation of the wealthy people of the society to build quality homeopathic medical and educational institutions in Bangladesh. Keeping this goal in mind, Homeopathic Foundation Bangladesh has launched the Homeopathic Foundation Bangladesh and Research Institute Project seeking everyone's cooperation. We believe that this project will one day become a national institution of homeopathy at the private level in Bangladesh. We strive to advance homeopathy by using world class homeopathic medical services and technology. Let us all stand by the side of safe, natural medical science homeopathy for the purpose of self-humanity treatment, and play a role in the development of homeopathy as a passenger of Success.
